T.J. FISK NAMED ARIZONA IMPACT ASST. COACH

Glendale, AZ – The Arizona Impact name T.J. Fisk as Assistant Coach and Head of Player Recruitment for the 2017/2018 MASL2 season.

Fisk joins the organization with an extensive coaching background to include collegiate experience serving as an Assistant Coach at both Phoenix College and Arizona Christian University as well as having played in the USL, NPSL and PDL, Fisk will be a great addition to the coaching staff.  Fisk says, “I am excited to join the Arizona Impact and thank Owner Patrick Fisher and Head Coach Mike Cudmore for this opportunity. This will be my first experience with Coaching this level, but don’t be misled, I am very hungry for success! I have lots of experience Coaching and playing. I have won State Championships from High School to Club Championships. I have Coached for Phoenix College and Arizona Christian university.  I have many ideas that have been growing. This is my next step in success as a Coach!”

With the season starting in less than 4 weeks, Coach Mike Cudmore says, “I’m excited to bring T.J. on as part of the Coaching staff.  He has a lot of coaching experience and will bring balance to the bench. It’s going to be an exciting season.”

Fisk not only steps in to assist Head Coach Mike Cudmore but will also head-up recruiting players for the organization.  “As we [Arizona Impact] move forward working towards competing in the Major Arena Soccer League, player recruitment and development are crucial aspects required to make it at the highest level. If we can get ahead of the game now then once we join the MASL, we will be ready to hit the ground running allowing the team to immediately compete for an MASL Title” says Owner Patrick Fisher.

The Arizona Impact kick-off their MASL2 season at home against the Colorado Inferno on December 9th, 7:05 pm at the Arizona Sports Complex.

ABOUT THE MAJOR ARENA SOCCER LEAGUE 2 (M2)

The MASL 2 was formed in 2017 and will serve as the official developmental league of the Major Arena Soccer League. The M2 and MASL represent the highest level of arena soccer in the world, and combined feature 26 teams across North America, with teams playing coast-to-coast in the United States, Mexico and Canada (Toronto to begin play in 2018).
